O’Reilly might refuse to accept a damaged battery for recycling, additionally, if your battery is physically damaged and leaking acid, they will not accept it.
Pro Tip: You can still recycle your physically damaged or leaking acid battery at your local hazardous waste recycling center.
Note: There is a limit on the numbers batteries per day that can be recycled per customer. For Florida customers this limit is 2 batteries per day, and for California customers this limit is 6 batteries per day.
